Last week, an important meeting was held at the central offices of Bank Hapoalim with top company officials. This included Oded Eran, Chairman of Bank Hapoalim, Mr. Amit Oberkowitz, Director of Human Resources, and Batsheva Moshe, Chief of the Bank, along with Avi Wurzman, IACC Chairman, Raz Froilich, CEO of IACC, and Liat Allert, Director of Partnerships.
The meeting was secured thanks to a previous partnership between the bank and the IACC on “The Door is Open to Everyone,” a national campaign that took place for all of last year, with a goal to foster greater understanding and awareness of the mentally and physically handicapped communities among Israelies. The campaign also involved cooperation with the Shalva Band and a public voluntary charter that was signed by 600,000 people nationwide. IACC’s representatives expressed their gratefulness at the start of the second year in a row of the organization’s new Financial Coaching Program, which involves dozens of training sessions and thousands of participants each year in the field of financial coaching.
During the meeting, IACC officials presented its programming and objectives, the spectrum of activities provided by its different community centers, as well as an in-depth look at the Shelem movement, and the establishment of Yedid civil rights offices within IACC community centers.
IACC and Bank Hapoalim leadership came to a mutual agreement that ties between the two organizations will continue and strengthen, and that more social awareness media campaigns like “The Door is Open to Everyone” will be on the agenda.
